Internship project

This application was created with the help of my teammate during my internship at Multihexa. It's a management application for Multihexa's administration and agencies outside Canada. Its purpose is to manage students abroad who wish to study at this college. There are mandatory processes to follow, depending on the government and the school. Agencies create requests and add the necessary documents to register a student or students. The administration then follow up, send the documents to the government and reply to the agency after receiving confirmation from the government. To manage the work, we used Trello, Git and Microsoft Teams. During the production of this project, I used the ASP.NET MVC framework and the following programming languages: C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax and SQL. For the database, we used Microsoft SQL server and for database management, we used Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.

Wishlist system and purchase

Out of curiosity, I decided to learn COBOL, an old programming language. To do so, I used an IDE called “OpenCobolIDE” to program and realize my first project in this language. I decided to set up a wish list and a purchasing system. When the program starts up, it can reset the wish list. Next, the program fetches from a text document the list of available products that will be displayed in the console. The user then selects and adds one or more items to the wish list. Afterwards, the user can either exit the program with the saved wish list or purchase all the products on it. If the user makes the purchase, the wish list will be deleted and the program will close.

Moisson Alma

This web application was the final project in the Multihexa school program. It was a project in teams of 2. We had to find a customer and create an application for them.Our client is Moisson Alma. This is an It's an organization that provides food aid to people on low incomes. As this customer didn't have a website, we created a web application for visitors, as well as a management application for customer administration. The project uses the ASP.NET MVC framework and I used the following languages: C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax and SQL. For the database, we used Microsoft SQL server and for database management, we used MySQL Workbench.
